Board Update: Thanking Debbie Abel for Her Leadership as She Steps Down

Long time board member and past president Debbie Abel has resigned from the PTA board. We want to thank Debbie for her hard work and leadership during her time on the board. It was during her leadership that the board established the relationship with Schafer Government Affairs (SGA), our lobbying firm. Because of that relationship, we have been able to be involved with legislative matters before they are written, rather than playing defense just prior to them becoming law. We wish Debbie all the best as she moves on from serving on the board.
